Haley Garvis believes in an interdisciplinary approach to Arts Education, in which science, music, play, traditional craft, and technology coincide.

Her hope is through inclusive inquiry-based art-making and exhibitions, individuals feel valued and self-empowered to view art not as a static institution but as a connective exchange and space for collective progress.

She loves horror movies, swimming in rivers, reading contemporary fiction,  and experimenting with new visual mediums.

Haley grew up in Lexington and Richmond, Virginia and has spent the past six years making and teaching Art in North Carolina.
